Students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade come Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Our children in 4th through 7th Grade come Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Our curriculum includes Hebrew, holidays, Tefilah (prayer) Torah stories and Jewish history. We also offer a variety of enrichment classes, such as: jewelry making, self-defense,  Israeli Hip Hop, journalism and yoga. A healthy and nutritious snack is served  on both days.

Midrasha / Teen Academy:

This is an exciting component of our students’ Jewish education, which leads into the 10th Grade Confirmation Program.  Sinai Midrasha / Teen Academy 8th and 9th Grade students meet on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the “Noar Loft,” a special and cozy place in our library.  The program gives our students the opportunity to continue enjoying the company of their Temple friends and take exciting, interactive classes such as Israeli cooking, music, Jewish value through film, in addition to weekly discussions about “Teens’ world through Jewish eyes.” The students also enjoy different speakers and various programs throughout the year.

Confirmation Class:

Students in 10th Grade will mark the end of their formal Jewish Education which culminates with the Confirmation Service. This class is led by the Rabbi and includes topics such as: ethics and social actions, the nature of the human being, and how to cope with life. Dilemmas of vital importance to our young people are candidly discussed and explored.
